The Libertarian

In the spring of 1978, two young guys from Ontario, Mike Little and Rick Bolstler, quit their well-paying jobs of airline pilot and computer systems analyst  respectively, to move to Vancouver. They thought the ideas of liberty would be particularly well received in the West and they established an educational foundation, The Libertarian Foundation, to spread the word. Part of their effort consisted of publishing a newsletter for members. I happened along the duo shortly after the Foundation was launched and became the Managing Editor and a contributing writer to the publication. This was my first foray into writing articles on a regular basis. I am scanning the old newsletters and converting them to PDF format and making them available here online for the first time. I'm actually converting them using OCR so it will take a while to get them all here. The newsletter was published from April 1978 to February 1980. (note issues 1-3 have been scanned and converted using OCR. The ones after that are pasted jpeg images converted to pdf and will not be as clean as the reconstituted versions. But they are still readable.  I'll convert them over time.)
